We’re pleased to announce that Robert Doogan, one of our Chartered Financial Planners, has been elected to the Fellowship of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

Election as a member of the CII is globally recognised as a prestigious appointment for anyone working in financial services and acquiring Fellowship accreditation requires the highest level of knowledge, experience and professionalism.

Rob began his career in Financial Services after graduating from University in 2001. He went on to obtain a plethora of qualifications, including Chartered Financial Planning Status in 2011, before becoming a fellow of the Personal Finance Society (FPFS).

There are around 3,000 Chartered advisers in the UK and only a small number of these have attained the CII Fellowship award.

The route to Fellowship is lengthy and an individual only becomes eligible to apply after holding Associate level for at least three years. They also have to demonstrate considerable commitment to their own professional development, in a wide range of subjects, examined at the highest level.

Speaking about Rob’s success, Andrew Tyler said: “On behalf of everyone at Cullens, I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate Rob on this excellent achievement, which is a testament to his commitment to the job. After all his hard work, Rob more than deserves some quality time with his wife and 7-month-old baby.”
