Help us make a real difference

We’re proud to support, the North West based Children‘s Hospice, Francis House, and Spring Hill Hospice as our adopted charities.

Francis House Children’s Hospice is a lifeline to more than 470 families of children and young adults with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions from across Greater Manchester including Stockport, Oldham, Bury, Rochdale, Manchester, Salford and Trafford.

Caring for someone, often for twenty four hours a day, seven days a week can put a huge strain on families. When they come to Francis House they find a place of rest, fun and enjoyment in a comfortable home-from-home environment.

Based in Didsbury, Greater Manchester, Francis House services are all given completely free of charge and include respite care, home care, sibling support, end of life care, emotional and bereavement support.

The hospice needs over £4.7 million in donations each year, equivalent to £12,912 per day, to continue to provide its services.

We’re committed to funding at least one more day for this amazing charity this year and, along with our employee donation scheme, we’d like to offer you the opportunity to help us achieve and exceed this target. So, for every referral you send us, who engages our services, we will make a £50 donation to Francis House.

Based in Rochdale, Springhill Hospice first opened its doors back in 1989 and is a 16 bedded purpose-built facility offering specialist palliative care to patients and their families from diagnosis to end-of-life.

The cost of running the Hospice is now in excess of £3.2m per year which equates to over £8,900 per day. Whilst some income comes from NHS contracts and grants, 70% of running costs need to come from fundraising within the local community. The Income Services arm of the Hospice has to attract the remaining income, year on year, through fundraising events, charity shops, lottery, legacies and donations.

We are proud to support the Hospice through its Business Buddies fund raising initiative and also offer commercial support to the charity via governance of its employee pension scheme and individual support for members.
